HDD - Horizontal Directional Drilling

HDD is the core of SEQ Drilling's Services. HDD involves the use of a Directional Drilling rig and support equipment to install new pipes and services without the need for open trenching. This is particularly useful for crossing roads, dams, rivers, railways and environmentally sensitive areas -  All of which SEQ drilling has completed on past projects. 

We have several drill rigs ranging from small 20,000lb drill rigs perfect for smaller works in tight urban areas to all terrain rock drilling rigs. We have a host of support equipment and tooling to tackle all ground conditions and all jobs including several excavators, hydro excavation trucks, fluid recyclers and tooling for all ground conditions and pipe sizes.
